Patricia H. Halton graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Pre-Medicine. She attended the Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center Physician's Assistant Program and graduated in 2004. She is New York State licensed and a certified Physician Assistant (RPA-C).
Ms. Halton joined Riverdale Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases in late 2004 directly after graduating. She speaks Spanish, Portuguese and English fluently. She has co-authored several articles and abstracts, three of which were presented at national meetings and one which was published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology.
Ms. Halton is an associate member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) and the American College of Gastroenterology, and is an advocate for the Latino Organization for Liver Awareness (LOLA). She has a particular interest in liver diseases and is involved in the care of patients with a wide variety of disease states, including hepatitis B, hepatitis C, alcoholic liver disease, drug-induced liver injury, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, various other hereditary and metabolic liver diseases, and gastrointestinal illnesses.
